Who we are

Energising Development (EnDev) is a global programme funded by the governments of the Netherlands, Germany, Norway and Switzerland. EnDev works for energy access in more than 20 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

By 2020, EnDev globally supported 22.9 million people to have access to electricity or improved cooking technologies; 53,900 micro, small and medium enterprises and 23,500 people have additional employment. Thanks to EnDev's interventions, greenhouse gas emissions were reduced by more than 2.4 million tonnes per year.

Bolivia is one of the countries where EnDev is implemented through GIZ, benefiting more than one million people with energy access throughout the country.
